About Designer Screens

Designer Screens has been proudly serving the community since 1988 and remains locally owned and operated.  Owned by Raymond and Lynne Dorsey since 2014, we are the longest-standing window film installer in Dunedin.

Over the years, we have expanded our range to meet the need of our customers. Alongside window film, we also supply and install insect screens and doors.  In 2017, our product range grew to include blinds, curtains, shutters, outdoor blinds, awnings and umbrellas.

With decades of experience, a commitment to quality and finding the right solutions for your property, Designer Screens continues to provide trusted solutions for homes and business across the region.

Raymond Dorsey - Owner

Raymond’s background is in engineering, automotive services, and quality assurance, Raymond offers practical, well-designed window solutions that stand the test of time.

Outside of work you’ll find Raymond training for events like the One Day Coast to Coast and other multisport challenges

Lynne Dorsey - Owner

Lynne brings over 15 years experience in the trust and financial services industry, with a strong background in administration, compliance and business operations. She plays a key role in providing reliable administrative and operational support across the business, helping to ensure systems run efficiently and clients receive a high standard of service.

Outside of work Lynne is passionate about health and wellbeing and enjoys staying active through gym training, walking and biking. Recently competed in a 72hr Ultra Walk and training for future events.
